At 6:45 we’ll introduce you to breast cancer badass Patsy MacDonald.She was diagnosed with breast cancer three years ago. After a double mastectomy and immediate reconstruction, she is now in remission. MacDonald says she sees herself as more of a cancer badass, than as a cancer survivor especially after recently posting a video on social media in which she shares her experience of getting two flower tattoos over her new breasts.

 At 7:15 we’ll change gears and get the lowdown on what’s happening for Halifax Bike Week. The city has over 60 events planned during the 10-day event with an aim to grow bike culture in our city.

Forget about what to expect when you’re expecting! Tomorrow we learn more about what to expect financially once the baby arrives! It can cause a dramatic financial situation and at 7:45 our financial guru Leanne Salyzyn stops by to give us some advice.

At 8:15 we’ll meet the folks behind one of the newest food trucks to hit the streets in Halifax. The Halifax Press is serving up sandwiches hot off the press, oozing with deliciousness. Tune into our regular Foodie Tuesday segment as Jill learns the secret behind the popular Grilled Cheese.

While most shopping malls in the region are bringing in large US chain stores and offering generic food courts, Sunnyside Mall in is deliberately building a mix of local and unique shops that meet the needs of the Bedford community and beyond. At 8:45 we’ll talk with the folks behind a new initiative to create a destination for shoppers.
