KELOWNA–There was a huge response from emergency crews to the Greyhound bus station in downtown Kelowna Saturday afternoon.
RCMP say a call came in that a man had been stabbed, and was in the foyer of the bus station.
When RCMP arrived, they thought they would be searching for a perpetrator, but it turned out the man’s wounds were self inflicted.
“Initially, we were looking to see if somebody had inflicted this, but after investigating, it looks as though it was a self inflicted wound.”
The older man who injured himself was taken to hospital by ambulance, in stable condition.
