OTTAWA – As MPs return to the House of Commons for a final few weeks before the long summer break, The West Block’s journalist panel got together to rate the three party leaders.
Susan Delacourt of the Toronto Star cautioned Prime Minister Stephen Harper to welcome new faces to his inner circle as the next election looms.
Mark Kennedy, parliamentary bureau chief for the Ottawa Citizen, said Opposition leader Tom Mulcair may have been eclipsed by Liberal leader Justin Trudeau, who brands himself as an “anti-politician.”
