Saskatoon radio marathon raises record amount

SASKATOON – Rock 102 wrapped up their annual ‘Caged for the Cure’ radio marathon on Friday at Saskatoon’s Centre Mall.

This was the fourth 36-hour live marathon fundraiser for the radio station.

Thanks to Saskatoon donors, the marathon achieved a new record total of over $150,500.

“Huge thanks to everyone in Saskatoon who pledged money,” said Mark Loshack, Rock 102’s morning host.

All proceeds will go towards the Leslie & Irene Dubé Urology Centre of Health.

The health centre provides detection and treatment options to help navigate patients through the care system.

People can still make donations by calling 306-649-2873 or head online to St. Paul’s Hospital.
