KELOWNA, B.C. – The next phase of a $33 million expansion has begun at the Kelowna campus of Okanagan College.
The trades has seen renovations in the last two years, but is now breaking ground to build a top of the line trades complex.
“It means that more than 2,400 students and apprentices will be able to get the skills training onsite in a brand new, modern facility,” says Kelowna-Lake Country MLA Norm Letnick.
The new 5,500 square foot building will be LEED Platinum standard, which means an energy neutral space that will be among the most modern in the world.
