TORONTO – A 44-year-old man is dead following a six car collision in west-end Toronto Wednesday morning.

The crash happened just after 6 a.m. near the intersection of Highway 27 and Belfield Road in Rexdale.
Toronto EMS say three other patients were also seriously injured.
Police say the deceased was attempting to make a left turn on Belfield Road when he was struck from behind causing a chain-reaction.
The area has been closed to traffic as police conduct their investigation.
