WATCH: Aerial footage from scene of deadly rollover on Highway 401
TORONTO – One person was killed Tuesday afternoon after a truck filled with soil and gravel rolled over onto a car on Highway 401.
The crash happened at approximately 4:30 p.m. as the two vehicles were travelling east on Highway 401.

The car was buried under soil and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Three others were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
All eastbound express lanes of Highway 401 were closed from Avenue Road to the scene of the crash.
Crews worked to clean up the soil and the lanes were reopened early Wednesday morning.
Police are investigating what led to the fatal crash.
