VERNON – After a few games too close for comfort the Vernon Vipers have fought their way to the semi-finals at the RBC Cup.
While it’s been a team effort, one Viper in particular is red hot on the score sheet.
Sniper Colton Sparrow not only leads the team but tops the entire RBC Cup Tournament for scoring with five goals and two assists.
“Absolutely I’m happy where I’m at,” says Sparrow “but I’m a team first guy. I could care less about the game stars as long as we win a gold medal I’m happy.”
The Vipers are now two wins away from taking it all.
They take on the Yorkton Terriers in the semi-finals Saturday at 2 p.m.
