Saskatoon police seek help locating missing elderly man

SASKATOON – Police are asking for help locating an elderly man who went missing in Saskatoon on Wednesday morning.

Michael Joseph O’Keefe, 80, was reported missing from his residence in the 300-block of Pinehouse Drive and was last seen at 11 a.m. in the 100-block of 105th Street East travelling on foot southbound towards Circle Drive.

Police are organizing searches of the area and are asking the public to check their properties as O’Keefe suffers from memory issues and may have wandered away.

O’Keefe is 5’8” tall, 190 pounds with a medium build. He is balding with grey hair in a comb-over, blue eyes and clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a red plaid “old fashioned” Scottish style hat.

He is in good physical health.

Police say it is not known where O’Keefe may have gone as there is no family or friends in Saskatoon he could be with.
