A man in his 60s is homeless after a fire tore through his mobile home in Surrey Saturday night.
The fire broke out around 8:45 p.m. in the trailer, which was located at the back of the Plaza Mobile Home and RV Park on 8266 King George Highway.
Crews had a tough time fighting the fire because according to neighbours there were no fire hydrants nearby, and the home was packed with junk.
Neighbours say the man who lives in the trailer, a retired music teacher, was a hoarder who sometimes brought home two bikes a day.
RCMP found around 100 bikes on the property.
