REVELSTOKE, B.C. — A crash in Revelstoke Saturday afternoon has closed the Big Eddy Bridge indefinitely.
According to police, slick conditions contributed to the single-vehicle accident that caused a man to lose control and flip his car, trapping him inside.

Emergency crews were able to rescue him.
“The driver has been advised to be in good health besides a broken left arm and lacerations to the head,” said Revelstoke RCMP Staff Sergeant Kurt Grabinsky.
There was an estimated $100,000 damage to the bridge and the man’s vehicle combined.
The bridge will be closed for at least the next day, as crews assess the structural damage and complete repair work.
