McGill student lipdub video will put a smile on your face

MONTREAL – Spring is in the air and these McGill students could not be happier.

They got together to take part in a lipdub video of Pharrell William’s new song “Happy.”

The video, which was actually a project in an Integrating Educational Technology class, was shot at McGill’s downtown campus and features a huge group of students singing and dancing to the hit song.

Tom Zheng – the student who filmed, edited and directed the video with two other students – posted it online on Sunday, April 6.

Along with the video, Zheng wrote this message: “To all of our friends at McGill University and beyond, we hope that this video will bring you moments of joy as exam season approaches. Share the happiness, share the love.”

The video has already passed 30,000 hits.
