Police in the Lower Mainland are joining a global safety campaign to make commuters aware of sexual offences occurring on the transit system.
The project runs from April 7 to 11.
The effort includes a video called “See something, say something,” and an app where people can text their concerns to transit police.
The app will also feature real time police information and crime maps.
The safety campaign has been dubbed Project Global Guardian, and includes police agencies from Great Britain, other parts of Canada, and the U.S.
