HALIFAX – RCMP say an 11-year-old girl has non-life-threatening injuries after she became pinned between two vehicles in a Lower Sackville parking lot.
Officers were called to the Cobequid Community Health Centre on Freer Lane shortly after 8 a.m. Friday morning after a car reportedly went out of control and struck several other cars before hitting the girl.
The girl was getting out of a vehicle when she was hit.
According to police, the 55-year-old man driving the car that struck the girl appeared to have had a medical incident, which could have contributed to the crash.
Both the man and the girl were taken inside the health centre to be treated.
Police are still investigating.
