WATCH: Final Submissions

The jury in the Matthew Foerster murder trial heard final submissions today.

Defence counsel elected not to call any evidence, meaning the accused murderer did not testify in his own defence.

The Crown argued there was sufficient evidence to support a finding of first degree murder.

Meanwhile, Foerster’s lawyer asked the jury to come back with a manslaughter verdict.

The judge is giving his instructions to the jury tomorrow morning, before the panel deliberates on their decision.
