The Crown wrapped up its case today in the Matthew Foerster trial.
The Cherryville man is facing a first degree murder charge in the death of Taylor Van Diest, the Armstrong teen whose body was found badly beaten on Halloween night 2011, near railway tracks in her hometown.
The Crown called its final two witnesses today: the RCMP investigator in charge of the crime scene, and the emergency room doctor who treated Van Diest at the hospital the night she died.
Technical arguments in front of the judge alone are expected tomorrow, while the jury has been excused until Thursday.
