Okanagan tops Canadian charts for weather

OKANAGAN — You may already know it if you live here, but now the Okanagan is getting some national recognition for its fabulous weather.

Penticton and Kelowna topped the charts for the best weather in Cananda, tied for first overall.

The ranking comes from MoneySense Canada.

It’s stats show Penticton boasted an average temperature of 9.5˚C, 129 days above 20˚C and 99 days of rain. Kelowna’s average temperature was recorded at 8.1˚C with 124 days above 20˚C and 108 days of rain.

Salmon Arm also made the list coming in at 8th overall.
