SAGINAW, Mich. – The Saginaw Spirit of the Ontario Hockey League say 20-year-old centre Terry Trafford has been missing from the team for six days.

Trafford was last seen Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the Dow Event Center, the team’s home arena.

Team president Craig Goslin says the team is “very concerned for the young man” and hopes he’s found soon.

Trafford is a Toronto native and has been with the Spirit for several seasons. He’s listed at 5-foot-11 inches and 190 pounds.

“We currently have no further comment until the professionals searching for him complete their work,” said the OHL team in a media release.

Toronto Police Const. Victor Kwong said police have no record of the hockey player crossing the border since he disappeared on March 3.

Calgary Flames rookie Sean Monahan sent out a tweet on Sunday “praying” for his former teammate.
