Tornado hunter shares windy memories with Kevin

Saskatchewan tornado hunter Greg Johnson touches down in our studio to share some twister stories from last season.

Greg Johnson has seen a great deal.

He says “for science” and that’s a pretty good way to look at it.

When you hunt for tornados, is there a better reason than science?

Greg is conveying some of his knowledge with the people of Saskatoon.

Similarly to yesterday, experts passing their knowledge and wisdom down are a wonderful thing.

Second Cup is one of my favourite café’s, so I was excited to talk to the co-founder and thought, ‘I could learn a lot from this guy’!

Evidently that’s what organizers at the Raj Manek Mentorship program thought as well.

Sean O’Dea is talking to budding entrepreneurs and about how to make it in the business world.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

My sister and I are budding entrepreneurs with an online business so I took this interview as a chance to pick the brain of a very successful man.

His advice – learn from others who have done something similar and know your clientele.

Thank you Sean, I will.

He said starting a business is no different today than it was 30-years-ago, so to all you budding entrepreneurs out there, myself included, let’s learn from the pros.

Melissa braves cold for learn about Agro Bed Push

Melissa went live with students from the University of Saskatchewan Agriculture Program, who are braving the cold to push a bed from Saskatoon to Regina in support of Telemiracle.

Seeing it for the first time, initially what came to mind were questions about safety.

But then seeing that they are taking every safety precautions necessary my mind was at ease.

It is being done for a wonderful cause here in our city.

It was great to see regardless of the cold the students came out with big smiles ready to raise money for the Kinsmen charity.

If you see them on the road to Regina in the next few days be sure to slow down and show your support for the U of S students who are keeping their long standing tradition of giving alive.

Jessica and Kevin take a look at what to expect Friday on the Morning News
