Accomplishments:

  • Won bronze in slalom at the 2009 World Championships.
  • 26 career top-10 World Cup finishes.

Interesting Fact: His nicknames are ‘Panic Janyk’ and ‘Seagull’ because he is loud and is always trying to steal his teammates’ food.

Chances: In prior Olympic Games he has finished 17th (2006) and 13th (2010) in slalom. Chances are he will be within that range once again in 2014.
