TORONTO – Canadians are making more appearances on U.S. late-night talk shows: First it was Toronto’s crack-smoking mayor Rob Ford, now it’s the arrest of Justin Bieber (with a little bit of Ford on the side).
Take a look at the Thursday night barbs launched on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Late Show with David Letterman and The Tonight Show with Jay Leno in our comedy round-up.

Jimmy Fallon
Fallon chose to focus on Bieber’s age after describing the drag racing charges against the Canadian pop star.
“Pretty surprising when you hear the only race car he’d been in before that was his bed,” joked Fallon. “Mom, can I stay up to watch Late Night? No. Go to your Lamborghini,” he said, referring to the rental car Bieber was allegedly driving when arrested.

Jimmy Kimmel
Instead of solely delivering jokes, Kimmel decided to read some actual tweets that were posted following Bieber’s arrest, such as:
He followed up with sarcasm: “She’s right. The point is no one’s talking about the real victims here, the people who aren’t in jail meeting Justin Bieber.”

Jay Leno
Car-lover Leno poked fun at the speed at which Bieber was allegedly racing in his Lamborghini as well as the 19-year-old’s mug shot.
He also couldn’t resist including Toronto’s mayor in the segment.
“Bieber told police he had consumed alcohol, smoked marijuana, and taken prescription medication—or as Toronto Mayor Rob Ford calls that: a light snack.”
