REGINA – Regina is looking to keep strip clubs restricted to industrial areas of the city after the province loosened rules around adult entertainment.

Tomorrow, members of Regina’s planning commission will vote on proposed bylaw amendments aimed at maintaining the status quo.

That means strip clubs would remain restricted to industrial areas, and would still be subject to a minimum separation distance from residences, schools and parks.

The City of Saskatoon recently passed bylaw changes allowing existing nightclubs to offer live adult entertainment twice a month.
