For the fifth year in a row several transit riders dropped their drawers for No Pants Day on the SkyTrain today.

The No Pants Day movement was started in New York in 2002 by a comedy group called Improv Everywhere and since then there are several similar events around the world.

Organizers say the event is not meant to offend other transit users but rather to put a smile on their faces.

“It seems like people are looking for a reason to drop their pants,” Piche said. “We just needed to create the Facebook event page and voila! People are here now.”
