Residents in the northeast community of Castleridge were woken up to gunshots Sunday morning.
Police say the shots hit a home on Castlebrook Rise N.E. and pierced a vehicle parked outside.

The call came in around 1 a.m. on Sunday morning after a man living in the downstairs suite of the home reported hearing shots being fired outside.
Police believe the shooter targeted the upstairs suite, but say the tenant was not home at the time.
Investigators say they’re not sure if the bullets passed through any walls, but add that no one was injured.
Police do not have any suspects or anyone in custody at this time.
