Tech issues at Pearson mostly resolved

TORONTO – According to the official Twitter account of Toronto Pearson International Airport, computer problems that caused many issues for passengers Saturday have been mostly resolved.

Check-in counters at Pearson malfunctioned on Saturday due to a software problem. Passengers had to be checked in manually by airline staff, resulting in slowdowns.

The airport is recommending people flying out Sunday to use web check-in and to check their flight status before heading to the airport.

This latest hold-up at Pearson follows the cancellation and delays of hundreds of flights, and dozens more in Montreal due to bad weather earlier in the week.
