PRINCE ALBERT, Sask. – A man has been killed after he was hit by a car in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on Saturday morning.

At 8 a.m., emergency services were called to the entrance of Little Red Park on Highway 55 after receiving reports of a car striking a pedestrian.

The pedestrian, a 24-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.

A section of the Highway 55 is no longer restricted.

Prince Albert police continue to investigate.
