A new study suggests people who suffer a concussion need more than a break from sports, and also need a mental break in order to recover fully.
Researchers found it took an average of a hundred days for student athletes to get over a concussion if they kept up with all of their school work.
In contrast, those who cut back on homework and online activity recovered in just 20 to 50 days.
The study concludes that mental rest is just as important as physical rest.
