Vancouver police are issuing a warning after a woman was sexually assaulted in downtown Vancouver Sunday night.
It happened at approximately 7:30 p.m. near Burrard and Davie Street.
A 30-year-old woman was walking soundbound on Burrard when she was pushed to the ground and sexually assaulted.
She defended herself and bit her attacker.
The suspect ran away eastbound on Davie Street towards Granville.
He is described as an Asian man in his 30s, 5’4” tall, with a slender build and short black hair.
He was wearing a dark shirt, light-coloured jeans, and was carrying a bright yellow backpack.
Anyone with information about the attack is asked to call Vancouver police.
