HALIFAX – Capital Health is suspending one of its pediatricians after discovering hundreds of infants have been improperly immunized and will need to be re-vaccinated.

Dr. William Vitale’s medical license has been suspended due to concerns over how he vaccinated children.

Anyone who’s child was vaccinated by Vitale between 1992 and 1994 or from 2003 to today should contact their family physician to be re-vaccinated.

Those without a family doctor will be able to go to a special clinic starting January 8th.
