TORONTO – Slippery driving conditions didn’t put a hamper on Boxing Day sales in the GTA.

Lineups formed at Sherway Gardens well before the mall’s opening time at 7 a.m. this morning.

Among the biggest draws were limited time sales including one on outerwear netting buyers a 50 per-cent discount.

One source told Global News Consumer reporter Sean O’Shea that many of the buyers will end up reselling the garments either online through services like eBay, or in other stores and malls.

The Boxing Day shopping was described as “organized chaos” by an employee.
