According to witness Wesley McClinton, that’s when a police officer got out of a car and drew his gun.
“He tried to open the car door,” McClinton said. “I heard the pump of the shotgun, and seconds later I heard a pop.”
Shots were fired at the car, however it fled the scene without anyone hit. The car, a 1993 Honda del Sol, was later found a few blocks away.
No injuries have been reported, and Langley and Surrey RCMP are determining how the events took place. A description of the suspect has yet to be released.
