17-year-old Daniel Schmidt has not been seen since Sunday morning and his family is concerned for his safety.
Kelowna RCMP say they received a report of a missing teen at about 12:20 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 22. Schmidt was last seen at a home in the 700-block of Wilson Avenue. He apparently left the home at about 10:30 p.m. on Dec. 21 and failed to come home when he was expected.

Police say Schmidt has a recent history of going missing and has actively avoided police in the past. Police say they simply want to confirm that Schmidt is safe.
He is described as:
- Caucasian
- 6′ tall and 140 lbs with a slim build
- Shaved head, or very short black hair, and brown eyes
