KELOWNA — A routine night on the job turned into anything but for a Kelowna transit bus driver.
The 44-year-old man was assaulted at the bus loop on Gordon Drive at around 7 p.m. Thursday night, by a teenager.

RCMP say the suspect became confrontational on the bus. The driver asked him to leave and that’s when the assault happened.
Police say the suspect is a young man between the ages of 15 and 17 and was wearing a blue jacket and grey ball cap with baby blue NY Yankees lettering.
RCMP say a second man also fled the scene with the suspect.
The bus driver was taken the hospital with minor injuries.
