KELOWNA — RCMP have solved four Kelowna bank robberies now that a prolific offender has admitted to being responsible for all four heists.
Kevin Donald Power, 49, has pleaded guilty to robbing the Scotiabank on Dilworth Drive and the Scotiabank on Lakeshore Road.
He held up each bank twice on separate occasions between 2011 and last year.
Police arrested Power at gunpoint following the second Scotiabank robbery on Dilworth when a passerby tried to wrestle him to the ground during Power’s attempted escape on a mountain bike.
Power will be sentenced in late January.
