Mounties locate missing North Battleford teen

UPDATE: Kiana Benson has been located and returned to her youth care home.

NORTH BATTLEFORD, Sask. – A 13-year-old girl was reported missing Tuesday night from her youth care home providers in North Battleford, Sask.

Kiana Benson ran away while on an outing and a detailed search of the area was unable to locate her.

She was last seen at Don Ross Hill around 8 p.m.

Benson is originally from Thompson, Manitoba but is believed to have family and friends in North Battleford.

She is described as being slender, 5’7”, 125 lbs, with long brown hair and brown eyes.

Benson was wearing pink ski pants, a purple and green jacket and a black toque.
