CALGARY- A busy intersection in the middle of Inglewood had to be shut down on Tuesday afternoon, after a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle.
It happened just before 4 p.m. at 9 Street and 9 Avenue.

EMS say a woman was struck in the intersection, and had to be rushed to hospital in serious but non-life threatening condition.
The area was shut down, so police could investigate.
So far there is no word what led to the crash.
