Murder investigation launched after body identified

SASKATOON – An autopsy has confirmed that the body found in northern Saskatchewan last week was that of 24-year-old Jodi Roberts.

Monday’s autopsy also determined that Roberts did not die from natural causes.

Her death is now an RCMP murder investigation.

No charges have been laid and no one is currently in custody.

The mother of two was reported missing after she was last seen on Nov. 2 in Sucker River, Sask. Her body was found several kilometers from the town.
