Man robbed by suspect armed with steak knife

SASKATOON – Saskatoon police are on the lookout for a suspect after an armed robbery near Market Mall on Monday afternoon.

Around 3 p.m., a 65-year-old man was approached by an unknown man in the 2500-block of Louise Street.

He then showed what appeared to be a steak knife, demanded the victim’s wallet and then fled.

No physical injuries were reported.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 5’5″to 5’6″, with a thin build, sunken cheeks and a large bruise on his left eye.

He was wearing a black jacket and black sweatpants.
