Ten days after a Calgary woman was reported missing, police say Amy Fahlman was found dead.
Sept. 29 was the last time Steven, Amy’s brother, talked with her. She said she was going on a drive to the west of Calgary along some routes she’s taken in the past.
The next day, Amy missed a get-together with friends she was scheduled to be a part of.
Earlier on Tuesday, scores of volunteers on ATVs, dirt bikes and horseback helped RCMP and search and rescue teams try to locate Amy in the area of the M.D. of Bighorn, northwest of Waiparous Village. The search was then called off moments later.

A GoFundMe page was set up to compensate the many volunteers who helped out.
Later that evening, police confirmed in a news release that Amy’s body was found. Her death is non-criminal in nature, according to police, and no further information will be released.
