After a 2 year hiatus, the Philippine Students’ Association (PhilSA) is bringing back the annual Fundraising Gala on April 2023! Join us for an evening of Filipino culture, cuisine, entertainment, guest speakers, dancing, and awards! The funds raised in PhilSA’s Gala and Fundraising Efforts throughout the year will be going towards the support of two charities: one local to Edmonton (Stollery Children’s Hospital) and another in the Philippines (Angat Buhay Philippines). The theme for this year is Bayanihan: It Takes A Village, as it represents the Filipino culture of coming together and helping each other out, especially during the start of the pandemic. Each ticket includes admittance to a full-course buffet, photobooth, 360 film, red carpet entrance, silent auction, 50-50 raffle, a raffle draw, cash bar, dance floor, live performances from various performers, such as Himalaya and Cataleya, and many more! Doors are open from 5 pm – 6 pm! 18 and above years old event only.
