The Butterfly Variety Show | Mitchell Nwabuoku

A 4-year-old child, by the name of Mitchell Nwabuoku, was playing and chasing a butterfly on the grounds of the apartments her cousins lived, on a beautiful summer’s day.

Unfortunately, that butterfly chase led Mitchell to unsecured train tracks, which resulted in her untimely death; she was hit by a passing GoTrain.

The Butterfly Project was formed to create community awareness, calling for precautionary steps to be taken to better protect children playing in areas that are vulnerable to accidents, so no other family has to go through the pain of losing a child in these or similar circumstances.

We will be holding the first of an annual memorial and awareness concert featuring Jully Black, Esther and Ezekiel, two African superstars who were finalists of Canada’s Got Talent, in her memory, on Mitchell’s birthday. We are very eager to get your support as we are aware that your presence will help to attract attention to this project.

The event will be held on Saturday, December 10th, 2022 at Rhema Conference Center, 40 Carl Hall Rd, North York, ON.
