In some areas of the Alberta Capital Region, the need for backpacks filled with school supplies is as high as 8 in 10 students. United Way’s Tools for School campaign aims to reduce one known barrier preventing children and youth from successful learning and participation in school.
Donations and product in-kind donations can be made at Staples locations in Edmonton from August 1 to September 15; or, product drives can be done with family, friends, or workplaces anytime in summer months and dropped off at United Way’s InKind Exchange Centre.
