Alberta Adolescent Recovery Centre 30th Anniversary

The Alberta Adolescent Recovery Centre has a successful track record of offering a community of care to youth suffering from Substance Use Disorder.

This year AARC celebrates its 30^th anniversary of offering help and hope to these youth and their families.

AARC is Alberta’s only long-term, semi-residential, family-oriented treatment centre for youth age 12 – 21. AARC provides long-term, cost-effective, family-centric, full-time addiction treatment, designed for the exceptional needs of adolescents. Clients stay in recovery homes with host families. Treatment is based on a unique 12 step (AA) model that promotes peer counselling and lifelong abstinence, accepting that addiction is a chronic disease.

Fee subsidies are available, no family is ever turned away from AARC for financial reasons.
