Diabetes is everywhere – in our homes, schools, communities and businesses.  Research is the only way to STOP DIABETES for good.  All funds raised by 48 Hours to STOP DIABETES support cutting-edge diabetes research in Alberta to find a cure for the World.  A cure is the only answer and research is the only way to get there.

48 Hours to STOP DIABETES is a one-of-a-kind, industry-driven webathon.  Interactive engagement, entertainment, contests and pledges will raise money for diabetes research and engage audiences of all ages and in all the industries that make Alberta great.  Every hour offers something unique to sponsors, donors, customers, and viewers.

Deep Stacked for Diabetes Research

Going all-in for diabetes at the Deep Stacked for Diabetes Research Poker Tournament.  Novice and avid poker players are going all-in for a competitive Texas Holdem tournament to raise funds for diabetes research. A Learn to Play Texas Holdem will be featured on the 48 Hours to STOP DIABETES webathon February 10-12 to prepare novice players for the poker tournament on February 26. ADF Adventure Silent Auction

Champions for a Cure

League of Legends Champions are teaming up to defeat diabetes. Champions for a CURE is a competitive League of Legends Tournament with exciting prizes and a winner-take-all final battle for the purse.  The games begin on January 28 with a quarter, semi and final rounds playing live as part of the 48 Hours to STOP DIABETES webathon February 10-12.  Teams can register now at smash.gg.  More information is available at www.stopdiabetes.ca.
