About 60 per cent of Canada’s Indigenous languages are spoken in British Columbia – 203 First Nations communities speak 34 distinct languages. Find out more about the efforts being made by 13 BC First Nations communities to preserve and revitalize their languages for future generations in the exhibit – Our Living Languages. On display for the summer at the Penticton Museum & Archives (785 Main Street). Open Tuesday – Saturday, 10 am to 4:30 pm.
