June is Scleroderma Awareness Month. Make A Difference in The Lives of Those Living with Scleroderma.
This year, we are hosting the Virtual Walk Run in the Park! Atlantic Canadians will step out – or stay in – to walk, run, and get moving starting on May 17th and ending until June 30th.
How To Participate: We know that many of us are facing lockdowns, restrictions, and strange times. Despite this, we are banding together to show our support for this very important cause. We encourage all participants to get active in the best way that suits you and your location. Walk, run, bike, horseback ride, canoe, kayak – whatever suits your fancy. If you’re getting active and moving your body, you’re doing it right! Can’t leave the house? Track your steps and do a few laps around your home! We encourage you to participate with us virtually on social media, showing off your creative ways to get active.
Hashtag: #MakeAMoveForScleroderma and Tag: @SclerodermaAtlantic in your photos and videos or send them to us by email at email@example.com.
Please note: Everyone is asked to follow the necessary Covid -19 protocols in their region. Your participation is a charitable donation. All of the funds you spend here will go directly towards our Atlantic organization, supporting the physical, mental, and financial health of those living with scleroderma and their caretakers. In addition, your donation will be used to support vital research into finding a cure.
