Since 1997, the Immigrants of Distinction Awards has used the power of story-telling to recognize the talent, excellence and positive impact that immigrants and refugees have on our local community and on Canada’s prosperity. The awards ceremony will recognize the outstanding achievements of Calgary’s immigrants and refugees in arts & culture, civics, academics and industry.
