The Canadian Seniors Association is currently hosting a fundraiser on GoFundMe on “Seniors need financial relief amid Covid-19” to address the urgent needs of our seniors. Here are the deficiencies that we want to focus on: – Lack of Seniors Financial Support – Difficulty obtaining PPE – Difficulty of not being able to go out to get groceries – Shortage of Social Time for Seniors, increased loneliness and combatting mental health issues – Difficulties with obtaining home health equipment, with Covid-19 causing agencies like Red Cross outlets to become inaccessible. – Accessing physicians and prescriptions and refills, management and medication reviews.
