The biggest names in the Hamilton music scene are coming together for one huge night of holiday cheer at A Hammer Rock Christmas, with all proceeds in support of Over The Bridge. Hosted by Brian West of Y108, A Hammer Rock Christmas brings together up-and-coming local artists and rock legends to celebrate the season and raise money for a great cause.
“We couldn’t be happier to bring together the biggest names in Hamilton to raise awareness and funds for mental health and addiction recovery in the music industry,” said Ace Piva, a founding partner of Over The Bridge and music industry veteran. “The holidays can be a tough time for people who struggle with mental health and addiction, and A Hammer Rock Christmas is an opportunity to bring people together this holiday season to share amazing music and raise funds to help us continue our work.”
Over The Bridge is a non-profit with a mandate to raise awareness, provide education and build a community to support mental health and addiction recovery for musicians and members of the music industry.
“This night is bound to go down in history as one of the greatest nights of local rock music in Hamilton and it’s such a pleasure for me to host the festivities,” said Brian West, afternoon host at Y108. “I strongly believe in the value of the important work done by Over The Bridge, and clearly the music industry agrees – check out this line-up!”
The unparalleled line-up of incredible local artists includes: Lori Yates w/ Hey Stella, Wax Mannequin, Katie Bully, Lee Reed, Tarek Funk, Chrys & Momo, Pistol Packin’ Preachers, Mathew Dezoete and friends, Ginger St James, Moonlight Desires, Citidiots, The Human Race and Georgia Pines.
