A Manitoba Arts Council grant recipient and Dance Manitoba Gold Award recipient, Accalia is the founder and director of Deep Roots – Strong Dance® dance company. She performed at Folklorama’s inaugural Egyptian pavilion and regularly performs at weddings, restaurants, and Festivals. Accalia is a Certified Datura Style™ (Bellydance) practitioner who loves to teach dance, and is based at Nafro Studios in Osborne Village. Accalia will conduct a Bellydance workshop at 2 as well as perform on the main stage at 5:45.
